We found crayon art on the internet. Neat. I tried it with a hot glue gun, but there wasn't a lot of control and too much focus of specific streaks. Then I tried using an embossing gun. I really like the results! Check it out:
First attempt at a rainbow. It is a little arty, and by arty I do mean drippy, but I think it works.
I made this for 2.0's nursery. I used an actual picture of Heather when she was pregnant with Kendall. She isn't showing this much yet! It is blue for a boy.
They're gorgeous. I wish I had 8 embossing guns for this class of mine. I have three hot glue guns, so we may try that one, but not until I get a chance to play with them a bit.
ReplyDeleteHow come I just now found out about this blog?! Loving it! I wanted to go back and comment on every single post! Especially the one where you were attacked by small dogs (mid-witty banter, no less!), which sounds mostly amazingand I wish I could have seen it. Poor Zu.
ReplyDeleteOh,and I love the crayon art. I don't know how you do it, but I would like to try. But I do not even own a hot glue gun, much less an embossing gun.
